What data we collect

Server logs (Vercel)

When you visit our website, our hosting provider Vercel (Vercel Inc., USA) automatically collects technical connection data: IP address (truncated after a short period), date and time of access, requested URL, browser type and version, operating system, and referrer URL. This data is processed to keep the site running and to defend against attacks. It is not combined with other data and not used for personal analysis.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, you transmit your name, email address, optional company, and your message. Submission is handled by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which forwards the data to hello@miraixcreators.com. We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not pass it to third parties beyond what is technically required to deliver our reply.

Fonts (Google Fonts)

Our website loads typefaces directly from Google servers (Google LLC, USA). This transmits your IP address to Google. We use Google Fonts because consistent typography improves readability. You can prevent this by blocking external fonts or JavaScript in your browser — the site remains readable, only the typography changes.

Language preference (localStorage)

If you switch between EN and DE using the language toggle, we store your choice locally in your browser via localStorage. This information stays in your browser and is never sent to us or to third parties. You can clear it at any time via your browser's storage settings.

Cookies

We do not use cookies. The language preference described above is stored via localStorage — technically not a cookie, but local browser storage that never leaves your device.

Data transfer outside Switzerland

Some of the services we use are operated outside Switzerland:

• Vercel (USA) — hosting and content delivery
• Web3Forms — contact form processing
• Google Fonts (USA) — typography delivery

For transfers to countries without a Federal Council recognition of an adequate level of data protection, we rely on the contractual safeguards offered by these providers (EU Standard Contractual Clauses or comparable mechanisms).

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to handle your request or as required by law. Contact enquiries are kept until your matter is resolved and, typically, for up to two further years to handle follow-up questions. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider (usually up to 30 days) and then deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Data Protection Act (revDSG), you have the right:

• to obtain information about the personal data we process about you
• to have inaccurate data corrected
• to have your data deleted, unless a legal retention obligation prevents it
• to receive your data in a structured, common format (data portability)
• to object to specific processing

If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Changes to this policy
